Georgios Kakavas PT OMT ATC MSc PhD

Georgios Kakavas, PhD(c), is a sports scientist and clinician based in Athens, founder of Fysiotek Spine & Sports Lab, and a long-time champion of perceptual-cognitive training in elite sport. He has published extensively on ACL injury mechanisms, concussion risk, and neurocognitive factors in performance—most recently in the Journal of Clinical Medicine and the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy. Georgios has served as Head Physio for top Greek clubs (including Panionios and Xanthi FC), is an ECOSEP member and frequent speaker at global forums such as ISOKINETIC/FIFA, and leads applied research and rehab programs that integrate NeuroTracker/3D-MOT in both assessment and training. His Sports IQ Lab in Athens is equipped with NeuroTracker, and has been influential in the medical and academic community in discovering it’s unique relevance to soccer.
