Hello, this is a weekly feature on NeuroTracker.net. It highlights recent plays from across professional and amateur leagues in the world. Each week, we will present one “Hero” that shows superior awareness and tracking skills that enable them to perform a great play. We will also present one “Zero” who may well have done better if they did more NeuroTracker training. NeuroTracker is used by amateurs and professionals to improve their focus and attention. It can also help with a wide array of cognitive functions.
Hero - Josh Byrne
Although Hofstra still fell to Georgetown, Josh Byrne introduces us to one of the top goals of the year. First, he recognizes where the play is heading. Re-watch the video and see where he stands just before scoring the goal - he's in between 3 defenders but manages to be exactly where he needs to be. Obviously the finishing itself is deserving of its own award but we were more impressed by his offensive awareness and lethal instinct.
Zero - Michael Bisping
It might be slightly harsh to give a zero of the week award to Michael Bisping, since he ended up winning the fight, but he certainly lost his focus in an incredible way here. Rather than focusing on the mouth guard and taking to the referee, Michael should have kept his attention on and only on Anderson Silva. (Stick tap to Rob Gronbeck from Cairns Sports Performance for this submission this week.)
