Hello, this is a new feature on NeuroTracker.net that will run on a weekly basis. It will highlight recent plays from across professional and amateur leagues in the world. Each week, we will present one "Hero" that shows superior awareness and tracking skills that enable them to perform a great play. We will also present one "Zero" who could have done better if they did more NeuroTracker training. NeuroTracker allows amateurs and professionals to improve their focus and attention. It can also help with a wide array of cognitive functions.
Hero - Mark Stone
Mark Stone takes the puck away from the Columbus Blue Jackets and skates behind the net. He is able to recognize and anticipate where his teammate, Kyle Turris, will be and also identifies the empty area in between the Blue Jackets defence. Take a look at the following image to see the different elements that Stone had to identify:
Stone demonstrates superior NHL-calibre awareness.
Zero - Toronto FC Defensive Group
In a game between Toronto FC and the Montreal Impact, the defensive group of Toronto FC far outnumbers the number of forwards in the box. Unfortunately, they are unable to correctly identify the situation and they lose track of the Impact forward allowing him to get to the ball and score.
We are sure that the defensive group would love to have that goal back.
Any other highlights caught your eye that represent a great awareness play? Anyone you think needs some extra NeuroTracker training?
